TAWHIDI EPISTEMOLOGY BASED FOR RESEARCH IN PERFORMANCE MODELLING

According to Choudury (2005), The Tawhidi Epistemology is premised on the combination of knowledge emanating from the Quran [stock of knowledge (Ω)] comprising Sunnat Allah, meaning the divine laws of oneness of Allah’s perfect and absolute knowledge [denoted by(Φ)] and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad used for deriving ontological function from the Sunnat Allah [derived by (Φ*)] .The combination of [Ω,Φ*] forms the Fundamental Epistemology from which are derived the knowledge flows are determined by the medium of the Islamic embryonic and systemic participation process of the Shura (Qur’an, Chapter 42). The Shuratic process is also referred to as IIE-process. It plays the central role in the generation of knowledge-flows from the Tawhidi episteme and applying such knowledge-flows to concrete entities and their complementary interrelation the problem domain.

The end result is a specification of a real word problem or a relational system. Such knowledge-flows determine both socio-scientific and market variables and institutional policies, technology and financial and economic instruments according to the Shari’ah. We denote this knowledge-induced bundle by {θ,X﴾θ)}, where θє Ω denotes knowledge-flows emanating from shura discourse on the theme of “Sustainable Enterprise Performance Measurement System Modeling” ” complementarities. {θ,X﴾θ)}denotes of knowledge-induced state and policy variables. The bundle{θ,X﴾θ)} describes the entire process order of the Tawhidi ethico-economic paradigm. This bundle is in the context of “Sustainable Enterprise Performance Measurement System modeling.” linkages.

The completion of any particular knowledge-formation process and its induction on {θ,X﴾θ)} is followed by an evaluation to determine the degree to which systemic unity (complementarities) has been realized between “Sustainable Enterprise Performance Measurement System Modelling” through the medium of Islamic Business Institutions including the Islamic Banks and Islamic Insurance Scheme (Takaful).
